Location: The Oaks on Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL
Challenge: This was one of the most difficult leak detections we’ve handled. The leak was in the underground return line, but the pipes were embedded directly in the concrete slab beneath a full paver patio — not in soil where they’re usually found. Standard methods couldn’t reach it without major demolition.
How We Solved It: Using our full Leaktronics suite — including advanced acoustic hydrophones, multi-zone pressure decay testing, high-definition in-line pipe cameras, and precise dye tracing — we isolated the exact failure point to within inches, even through concrete and pavers.
We performed targeted, minimally invasive access (small core drill), repaired the cracked section with new pipes, and pressure-tested the entire line to confirm zero loss. No widespread concrete or paver removal was needed.

Broken Pool Skimmer & Paver Crack Repair – North Port, FL
Location: North Port, FL
Challenge: The homeowner noticed water escaping around the skimmer and multiple stress cracks radiating through the surrounding pavers along the pool edge. The skimmer was cracked and pulling away from the shell, allowing water to undermine the paver base and worsen the cracking. This is a common but tricky combination issue in Florida — skimmer failure often leads to hidden subsurface erosion and surface paver damage.
How We Solved It: We first performed full Leaktronics acoustic and pressure testing to confirm the skimmer was the primary leak source (no additional underground pipe leaks).
We carefully removed the damaged skimmer faceplate and surrounding pavers, repaired the cracked skimmer body with structural epoxy and reinforcement, re-sealed all penetrations, and pressure-tested the entire line. We then re-leveled and re-set the affected pavers using proper base compaction and polymeric sand to prevent future settling.
